Hazel C. Heagle age 85, of Stanley, W passed
away on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Our Lady
of Victory Hospital, Stanley, WI. Hazel was born
November 17, 1924 to the late Olaf & Minnie
(Anderson) Kolstad in Stanley, WI. She grew up in
the area and on May 4, 1962 was united in
marriage to Gordon Heagle in Milwaukee, WI. They
resided in Stanley with Hazel working for ITT in
Thorp and then for the Stanley Corporation. Hazel
is survived by her husband Gordon Heagle; step-
daughter, Sue (Roman) Jessick all of Stanley, WI;
three grandchildren, Eric (Nicole) Jessick of
Stanley, WI; Lynn Jessick of Eau Claire, WI; Mike
(fiancé Nikki Pierce) Jessick of Stanley, WI; and one
great-granddaughter, Blair Jessick. She was
preceded in death by her parents, and one sister,
Doris “Nonie”Kolstad. Services will be held on
Monday, November 1, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Our
Saviors Lutheran Church with Pastor Sarah
Semmler-Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the
Evergreen Cemetery, Stanley, WI. Friends and
family may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of service
at the church. Plombon Funeral Service of Stanley,
WI assisted the family with arrangements.
