Kenneth Howard Goodman, 74 of Stanley, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Sacred Heart
Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born on Sept. 14, 1935 on the family farm in the town of Edson
to the late John and Mary (Sonnentag) Goodman. He grew up in the area and later joined the
Army serving in Germany for a few years. Ken returned home a short while and later moved to
Pewaukee. He worked for Briggs and Stratton as a foundry Supervisor for over 30 years. Ken
then returned to the area where he has since lived in his home on Otter Lake. Where his door
was always open to family and friends.

Ken is survived by his companion, Judith Phillips, Otter Lake, his five children, Steven (Mary)
Goodman, Karen (Donald) Cramer and Roger Goodman all of Pewaukee, Shiela (Thomas
Peschong) Goodman of Cedarburg and Richard (Sherry) Goodman of Stanley, seven
grandchildren, Jessica, Donny, Cotey, Megan, Simon, Lucia and Allie, three brothers, Jim
(Mary) Goodman of Boyd, Clayton (Sharon Mohr) Goodman of Stanley and John Goodman of
Stanley and one sister, Doris (Robert) Rasmussen of Menomonie. He is preceded in death by
his parents and brother Larry.
A funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic
Church, Boyd. Father Joseph Raja officiating. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley.
