Kyle Brandon Ryba, age 24, of Boyd, WI, whose life was
taken on Saturday, April 3, 2010. A Christian Burial Mass
will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St.
Joseph’s Catholic Church in Boyd, WI with Fr. Joseph Raja
officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends
may call on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at
the Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley, WI.
Kyle was born March 8, 1986 in Chippewa Falls, WI, the son
of Virginia “Ginny” Ryba. He attended Stanley-Boyd schools
and graduated from the Challenge Academy at Fort McCoy
in 2004. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and
was stationed in Germany until 2006. After completing his
duty in Germany, he was stationed in California, specializing
in vehicle mechanics. In 2007 he was then deployed to Iraq
where he served for 13 months. Upon returning from Iraq,
he was employed at the Army National Guard in Eau Claire
and was currently an active member of the Army National
Guard. Kyle will be sadly missed by his family and the way
he always poked fun of everyone. He always enjoyed
helping his uncle Rod on the farm as well as hunting, four-
wheeling, and playing cards with family and friends.
Kyle is survived by his mother, Virginia “Ginny” Ryba of
Boyd, WI; his father, Larry (Mary) Sorenson of Waupun, WI;
grandparents, Bill & Kathy Ryba of Boyd, WI; uncle, Rod
Ryba of Boyd, WI; aunts, Donna Plechacek of Boyd, WI;
Gerri (Tony) Kosakoski of Cadott, WI; Mary Scheidler of
Stanley, WI; Bev (Blaine) Marion of Hudson, WI; Bonnie
(Michael) Hassemer of Cadott, WI; Nancy Ryba, Kate (Tom)
Gindt and Carol Ryba, all of Boyd, WI; along with many first
cousins whom he was very close, one step-brother, and two
step-sisters.
Kyle was preceded in death by his aunt Luanne Ryba in
1996 and grandparents, Wilfred & Pat Sorenson, great-
grandparents, Paul & Alvira Stumpner and Joe & Mary Ryba.
