Marjorie L. Seefeldt, age 87 of Stanley, WI passed
away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the
Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, WI.
Margie was born August 20, 1923 in Cuba City, WI
the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Shortell)
Olson. She married Frederick Seefeldt at Epiphany
Lutheran Church in Stanley where she has been a
member since. The couple ran Stanley Oil very
active in the community. Among others they were
involved in the Stanley Commercial Club, the Otter
Lake Booster Club, area snowmobiling clubs. They
did everything together. Margie and Fred loved to
dance, play cards, fish, and travel. Margie was a
great cook and was an active member of the
Epiphany Lutheran ladies aid.
Marge is survived by her children, Rick (Sue)
Seefeldt of Queen Creek, AZ; Wayne (Sandy)
Seefeldt of Altoona; Cheri (Mike) Edwardson of
Richland Center, WI; 6 grandchildren & 16 great-
grandchildren, a brother, Dale (Evelyn) Olson of
Osseo and her sister, Fern Trewiellar of St. Paul,
MN. She is preceded in death by her husband
Fred, ’03, her parents and her brother Glen Olson.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 30,
2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Epiphany Lutheran
Church, Stanley with Pastor Daniel Welch
officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland
Cemetery, Stanley. Friends and family may call
from 9:30 until time of service at the church on
