Michael John Wozniak, age 50, of Chippewa Falls
went home to be with the Lord in the evening on
December 25 surrounded by his family on the
farm in Stanley.
He was born on November 16 1960, and raised in
Stanley WI to John and Dorothy (Henke) Wozniak.
Mike graduated from Stanley-Boyd High and later
attended CVTC for Diesel Mechanic and
Agricultural Business.
Mike was a man of many trades, farming for many
years in Willard WI, working in construction, as a
diesel mechanic, and service technician for DC
Atlas, A1 Rental, and Royal Construction.
He had many interests, working with youth
wrestling, hunting and fishing, building and pulling
mini-rods with his son, Steven. He cherished the
time he spent fishing behind his home on Glen
Loch. He especially loved his nieces, nephews
and grandchildren; telling them jokes and
wrestling. He was always eager to help others,
and the first to be there when anyone was in
need. He had a passion for bargain hunting and
tinkering with his many toys.
He will be missed dearly by...his four children,
Jessica (Robert) Burgess, Sherry Wozniak and
Mindy Wozniak all of Chippewa Falls, and Steven
Wozniak of Stevens Point, grandsons, Marshall
and Lawrence of Chippewa Falls, his parents,
John and Dorothy Wozniak of Stanley,and siblings
Joyce (Roger) Riedel of White Bear Lake, MN.,
Bruce (Roberta) Wozniak of New Richmond, Brian
(Cindy) Wozniak of Stanley, Mary Sue (Jeff)
Karlen of Owen, Thomas (Rebecca) Wozniak of
Stanley, Paul Wozniak of Sullivan, Jane Burzynski
of Stanley, Robert (Annitna) Wozniak of Verona.
He is preceded in death by one sister, Donna.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 AM on
Wednesday, Dec. 29th, 2010 at Holy Family
Catholic Church, Stanley, Father Joseph Raja will
officiate. A visiation will be from 4-8 PM on
Tuesday at the Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley
and one hour prior Wednesday at the Church.
