Richard P. Posda, age 68, of the Town
of Thorp, passed away on Monday,
January 16, 2012 at the Oakbrook
Health & Rehab. Center, Thorp, WI.
Richard was born Oct. 12, 1943 in
Stanley, the son of the late
George & Rose Mary (Kudingo)
Posda. He grew up in the town of
Thorp, attending area schools.
Richard then moved to Milwaukee
where he worked for a number of
years, later returning to the Posda
home farm where he farmed until
retirement.

He is survived by his siblings, Agnes Skwierczynski of Norridge, IL; Florian Posda of
Stanley; James Posda of Cudahy; plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Frank, Leonard & Walter Posda,
3 sisters, Ethel Zurakowski, Louise Skwierczynski, and Theresa Grendzinski.
Services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic
Church, Stanley, with Fr. William Felix officiating. Burial will follow in the parish
cemetery. Friends and family may call from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday evening at the
Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley.
