Dorothy L. Posda, 99 of Thorp, died Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Turner Integrity Care-Thorp under the care of St. Croix Hospice. She was born on November 4, 1926 at the family home: Town of Reseburg to the late Dennis and Olga (Detke) Biddle.Dorothy grew up and attended area schools. She married Sammie Borowski, SR who preceded her in death in 1993. She then married Florian Posda in 2002 who passed in 2018
She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cooking and polka music. Dorothy was known for her blunt honesty but also her gracious heart. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children, Sam Borowski, JR of Thorp, Yvonne Piotter of Stanley, and Bonnie Rondorf of Owen, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandkids and 18 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, siblings, Raymond Biddle, Bertha “Berdie” Reyes, Fred Biddle and one great grandchild.
A private graveside service will take place in the spring at Sylvan Cemetery.
