Marion Andruszkiewicz

Obituary:

Marion J. Andruszkiewicz, 89 of Gilman, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026. He was born at the family home in Thorp, the son of the late Leon and Wanda (Przybylski) Andruszkiewicz. Marion grew up there and graduated from Thorp High School. He entered the Navy and served for 20 years attaining the rank of Senior Chief.

Marion married Sheila Morian on April 25, 1983. The couple ran Andee’s Bar n Grill in Menomonee, Michigan from 1977 until 1985 when they then purchased and operated Club 73 north of Thorp until 1996.

He enjoyed fishing, traveling, going to the casino and spending time with his family. Marion had a great sense of humor and loved being in the hospitality business.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheila, his children, Irene Andruszkiewicz of San Diego, CA, Donald Andruszkiewicz of Orlando, FL, Ann (Chris) Vanderfin and Carolyn (Jody) Krouth both of Marinette, WI, 5 grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Kendra, Megan and Nathan and 2 brothers, Frank and Louis Andruszkiewicz both of Thorp. Marion is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Marie Peetz and his brother, Leon Andruszkiewicz.

A funeral mass will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church-Gilman with Father Joseph Stefancin officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service Wednesday. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family with arrangements.
